Carrying on in the tradition of their seizure-inducing website, the truly weird project featuring Coldplay's Guy Berryman, A-Ha's Magne Furuholmen and Mew's Jonas Bjerre plan to play their first-ever live show as Apparatjik inside a specially constructed cube. The show comes to celebrate the release of their debut album We Are Here, which was released today (February 1).

The show will take place tonight in Berlin at the WMF and will feature the band playing inside the aforementioned cube, which is rumoured to be made of glass and inspired by Lazlo Moholy-Nagy's 1930 Light-Space-Modulator and the Bauhaus Buhne movement. Um, yeah…

The live performance will be part of the annual Club Transmediale festival which takes place between January 28 and February 7. This is the festival's 11th year.

No word yet on if the album is getting a North American release, but you can order it here on MP3 and CD.
