Coldplay

"Up&Up" (video)

Beyoncé's soft-rockin' Superbowl backing band Coldplay recently showed off their latest single "Up&Up" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and now that same track has been given the official music video treatment.

The new clip was directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia, and blends surrealist imagery with shots captured from all over the world. From swimmers diving into pasta pots, gymnasts backflipping through forest fires, eagles soaring through the sea, flowers growing as tall as skyscrapers and turtles floating through subway stations, there's plenty of odd juxtapositions and playful visual manipulations to keep viewers engaged, as Chris Martin and co. set up shop to perform on the globe's surface.

The UK group's most recent record A Head Full of Dreams is out now. Watch the video for "Up&Up" below.
