If you're a fan of both Broadway and medieval erotica, you're going to love this. Coldplay and actor Peter Dinklage have teamed up to create a Game of Thrones-themed musical, and the whole thing is now available to watch.
The piece is simply known as Game of Thrones: The Musical, and it aired on NBC last night (May 21) for the charitable Red Nose Day (which aims to raise money for kids in need). It's not actually a musical, but a behind-the-scenes mockumentary about the creation of a Broadway musical, and frontman Chris Martin cockily describes the project as "stunning" and "the best idea we've ever had."
Things take an increasingly comical turn once of the actors from Game of Thrones get involved, as Kit Harington sings a knock-off of "Wild Thing" and Emilia Clarke fronts a reggae number called "Rastafarian Targaryen." Many of the cast members take part in a gory "Red Wedding" song, and Peter Dinklage sings a horn-spiked soul song about his longevity on the show.
Watch it all below. It's narrated by actor Liam Neeson.
