Published Nov 07, 2014Come Tuesday (November 11), it'll have been 96 years since the end of the First World War. Ahead of observing Remembrance Day, Coldplay are reflecting on the Great War via a stock footage-utilizing video for their Ghost Stories single "All Your Friends."
Scored by the low-key tune, the video presents shots of ground-locked trench warfare. Soldiers in gas masks are seen firing off rounds from the barracks, while troops on foot or on horse rush across plains. It also features pilot's-eye views of battlegrounds, and scenes of both surrender and celebration.
Accompanying the clip is the following dedication from Coldplay: "In memory of all those from all nations who fought in the First World War."
You'll find the solemn video down below. The band's Ghost Stories Live 2014 concert album/film arrives November 24 via Parlophone.
