Cold Warps Announce New 7-Inch, Canadian Tour Dates

BY Alex HudsonPublished May 28, 2012

Cold Warps impressed us with their Cold Warps/Endless Bummer compilation LP, and now the Halifax pop punkers have announced a new seven-inch and booked a series of tour dates in the eastern half of Canada.

The new single is called "Slimer," and it comes backed with a song called "Dream Creepin'." According to a press release, the song showcases a "weirder, darker side" than we heard on the band's previous pop-oriented garage punk tunes. It will come out on June 5 through Fun Dog Records.

Once the seven-inch is available, the band will hit the road for a week's worth of shows in June. This means eight performances in just seven days, including dates in the Maritimes, Quebec and Ontario. See the schedule below, and note that the band will be appearing at NXNE.
