Cold War Kids Gear Up for North American Tour, Play Montreal and Toronto

Cold War Kids are just days away from dropping their new album Mine Is Yours, and what better way to celebrate the occasion than by taking the music to their fans. The L.A.-based outfit have announced a North American tour this spring that will see them treat Canadian fans in Toronto (March 18) and Montreal (March 19) to some slick indie rock tunes.

As previously mentioned, the group's latest finds frontman Nathan Willett singing about "the joys and failures of commitment," but let's hope the guy focuses on the bright side of things onstage. Otherwise the Cold War Kids could be quite the bum-out in concert.

While Mine Is Yours comes out January 25 via Downtown, there's a possibility that the band could have another album to promote on their upcoming trip. The outfit recently recorded a live show to be released as a limited vinyl record on Jack White's Third Man Records. If by chance they have some for sale at their shows, you might want to have your coin purses good and ready. Those Third Man records are selling like hot cakes, and we know someone's already cashing in on the collectables.
