Following two full-length release with Deathwish Inc., Pittsburgh metalcore pummellers Code Orange have announced that their next project will be delivered through iconic metal imprint Roadrunner Records. A new album has yet to be revealed, but the signing was announced today (April 27).

After issuing an ambiguous teaser trailer yesterday, the signing was formally revealed through the group today. A second trailer, which you can see below, promises that Code Orange's next release arrives this fall. This would mark the first major release from the group since 2014's breakthrough I Am King.

"Now is the time for the next generation of heavy bands to take the torch and run with it. Code Orange is at the forefront of that generation, pushing the boundaries and changing perceptions of what heavy music will be for the future," Roadrunner Records senior vice-president of A&R Dave Rath said is a statement. "This band is sure to change the game for all who follow."

Founded in 2008 as Code Orange Kids, the foursome of Jami Morgan (drums/vocals), Eric Balderose (guitar/vocals), Reba Meyers (guitar/vocals) and Joe Goldman (bass) delivered a handful of demos, tour CDs and splits with the likes of Full of Hell and Self Defense Family before issuing their 2012 debut full-length, Love Is Love//Return to Dust. Ahead of releasing I Am King, they shortened their name to Code Orange.

Code Orange are just about to hit the road with Deftones for a U.S. tour. You'll find the date info over here.
