Rowdy Atlanta garage punks the Coathangers have been touring steadily since the release of last year's Larceny and Old Lace, and it looks as if they won't be taking a break anytime soon, as a bunch of new dates have now been announced.
The band are currently playing some East Coast dates in the U.S., but their summer plans don't kick into full effect until July. While the bulk of the dates keep them stateside and have them briefly hop on the King Tuff and Jaill tour, the Coathangers will return to Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel July 21. The quartet performed at the venue this past March.
In other band news, the second instalment of the Coathangers 2012 split seven-inch series has been announced, though it has yet to be detailed. There's no press release just yet, but Suicide Squeeze will deliver a wax platter with a new Coathangers song on the A-side, and one from Nashville garage troupe White Cream on the flip.
The release follows the Coathangers/Davila 666 split that arrived in April.
