Atlanta punks the Coathangers have been showing off their reconfigured three-piece line-up for much of the year, and have announced another mighty run of dates to help support their most recent LP, Suck My Shirt.
The band's trip officially begins tomorrow (June 20) out at Athens, GA's Athfest, but the group have now extended their earl summer plans all the way into September. While Crook Kid Coathanger (aka guitarist Julia Kugel), Minnie Coathanger (aka bassist Meredith Franco) and Rusty Coathanger (aka drummer Stephanie Luke) will mostly be delivering their ultra scrappy, garage-leaning goods to U.S. crowds, there is also a lone Canadian appearance to report. Following last spring's opening spot for the Black Lips, the band make their return to Vancouver August 15 with a headlining set at the Cobalt.
