Despite facing a bummer van robbery in the summer, tireless road warriors the Coathangers get back at it this week when they join up with the Burger Records "Caravan of Stars." Judging by the video for their Suck My Shirt single "Drive," they could be bringing a couple of knitted travel pals along for the ride.
Framed as a travelogue, the video for the poppy punk tune finds the Coathangers on-the-go with a pair of dolls who seem to love mugging for the camera. In between sets, we see the inanimate playthings posing in airport hangars, by the band van, beneath the waves of the ocean, and also while taking a snooze in a motel bedroom.
