Cloud Nothings to Drop Extended 'Live at Grog Shop' 12-inch

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 18, 2012

Following the release of their album Attack on Memory, Cleveland neo-grunge troupe Cloud Nothings issued a five-song freebie digital EP called Live at Grog Shop, recorded this past April at a hometown gig. If you were hankering for more of those in-concert cuts, the band have now repackaged the release as a limited twelve-inch with extra songs. The record hits shelves July 17 through Carpark.

The re-tweaked Live at the Grog Shop was recorded at the venue and mixed and mastered by James Kananen at Bad Racket. The nine-song set gathers tunes from Attack on Memory and other cuts from the outfit's back catalogue, and will be pressed in a limited run of 1,000 copies. Each copy of the record also contains a personalized hand-drawn image done by the band.

You can pre-order the record now at Insound, or order it in a bundle with Attack on Memory and a bonus one-sided single of "Fall In," which was recorded at the same show but is only available on the flimsy flexi-disc format.

The band have also offered up a new video for "No Future/No Past," which was also filmed at the Grog Shop. You can check it out below.
