Philly indie rock unit Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are currently in the middle of a cozy, living room-only tour, but the band will be getting back to proper stages later this spring to celebrate their 2005 self-titled debut, which they are also treating to an expanded reissue.
A recently updated tour schedule tacks on a good chunk of dates that find the group hitting traditional venues across North America between May and August. The hefty trek finds the act crossing into Canada for a couple of performances. They play Vancouver's Electric Owl on July 18 and make their way to Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern on July 29, just ahead of wrapping the summer trek in New York.
On the dates, the band will be performing their debut in full, as well as "other favourites from their catalog." You'll find all of the expanded tour details down below. The band have not yet made clear whether all the dates following the living room tour will be part of the anniversary trek, but the bulk — if not all — of the newly added dates appear to be part of the album-toasting journey.
As far as the reissue goes, it will arrive on CD, vinyl and iTunes on June 2. It will feature the original album, as well as 12 new cassette tape recordings by frontman Alec Ounsworth.
While the upcoming trip celebrates the 10th anniversary of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's debut, their last LP was 2014's Only Run.
