Once again, CityFolk is set to take over Ottawa this year, and organizers have now revealed the initial lineup for the 2017 instalment.

During that time, festivalgoers will be treated to the likes of Father John Misty, Jack Johnson, Rodriguez, Amanda Marshall, Post Malone, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Broken Social Scene, Margo Price, Corb Lund & Ian Tyson, Allan Rayman, Bahamas, Ruth B, Royal Canoe, the Philosopher Kings, Matt Mays, Scott Helman, A Tribute to Jesse Winchester, Big Thief, Fred Penner, Son Little, Lucy Dacus, Tank and the Bangas, Common Deer, Dead Flowers , Rose Cousins, Twain, the Suitcase Junket, NEFE, and Sweet Crude.
More acts are also set to be announced in the coming months.
"Lansdowne Park provides us, once again, with an accessible world-class venue that matches up nicely with our mandate of offering an exceptional festival experience," said CityFolk's executive and artistic director Mark Monahan in a statement. "We're also stoked about this year's lineup ― several of these acts have been on our wish list for quite a few years now."
A limited pre-sale offer begins at 10 a.m. local time Wednesday (May 17), while general tickets go on sale on Thursday (May 18). You can get more details on the CityFolk website.
