City and Colour Hits Studio to Record Third Album

City and Colour Hits Studio to Record Third Album
While Dallas Green recorded and released a song about the BP oil spill last fall, it's been three years since the City and Colour singer released an album proper. Fans of the Alexisonfire guitarist's softer project will be glad to know, however, that the artist is finally heading back to the studio to follow up 2008's Bring Me Your Love.

A press release states that Green is heading to Catherine North Studios in Hamilton, ON to record his third album as City and Colour with famed producer Alex Newport (At the Drive-In, Mars Volta, Death Cab for Cutie).

While not much more is known about the project, such as what it's titled or when it will come out, Green plans to keep his fans in the loop throughout the recording process. The singer will be posting videos, photos and other items of interest on a new website chronicling the making of his new record. The site goes live this Friday (January 21).
