The modernized '80s sounds of Canadian electro-funk duo Chromeo were delivered to last night's (November 8) audience of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The quirky Montreal-based musicians performed "When the Night Falls" alongside bud Solange Knowles, who provides the female vocal hook on both the recorded version of the track, as well as their performance last night.
The performance comes complete with a multitude of live synthesizers that provide the accents on the original track and vocoded harmonics (both courtesy of P-Thugg). In fact, if one we're to drop an '80s video filter over the clip, it would be almost chronologically indistinguishable from true '80s material.
