Christopher Lee Delivers New Heavy Metal Christmas Single

In what's becoming an annual tradition, beloved English actor Christopher Lee (Lord of the Rings, The Wicker Man) has unveiled another heavy metal-minded Christmas single. The follow-up to last year's A Heavy Metal Christmas is dubbed, most appropriately, A Heavy Metal Christmas Too, and it's up for grabs now via iTunes.

This time around, Lord Summerisle wraps his booming baritone around the familiar tune of "Jingle Bells," though he adds some wickedness to his six-string-soaring redo, here dubbed "Jingle Hell."

"I sing another version, it's a bit more naughty," Lee said in a trailer for the project, which you can see down below. "It's not bad, I mean bad in the sense of unpleasant. It's entertaining, it's certainly different."

The seasonal single was tracked last month, features alternate, evil lyrics about thrashing about on the way to hell and embracing the night, and includes additional vocals from Li Li. Also tacked onto the release is a cover of Frank Sinatra standard "My Way," which was recorded in 2006 but remixed recently for this new release.

Lee's unexpected heavy metal career officially kicked off in 2010 via the release of his Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross LP, which he followed up this year with Charlemagne: The Omens of Death.
