Despite his controversial outbursts, from his assault on former flame Rihanna a few years back to his often confrontational tweets, Chris Brown is one of North America's most celebrated R&B stars. This year's No. 1-charting F.A.M.E. was heralded as a comeback for the beleaguered Brown and just last week he ventured into the world of rap with his Boy In Detention mixtape, with Justin Bieber in tow. Capitalizing on his rebirth, Brown has just announced a hefty North American tour.

Brown will be kicking off the trip in Toronto at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on September 12. This is the only stop scheduled in Canada. Joining Brown on the 27-date tour will be former Auto-Tune booster T-Pain, ex-Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland and Tyga.

"This tour will allow me to paint a picture musically," Brown said of the upcoming shows in a statement. "I want to bring a lot of energy and excitement to all the fans. It's going to be a great show."

No word yet on whether Ontarian teen sensation Bieber will make a cameo at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre, but stranger things have happened. For starters, how about Chris Brown's comeback.
