On Monday (April 2), Chlöe — a.k.a Chloe Bailey of iconic sister duo Chloe x Halle — teased a snippet of her upcoming single "Boy Bye" on Twitter X by sharing a video of herself singing along to the track in her car. After taking a closer listen, it sure does sound familiar.
Some people online are speculating that Chlöe sampled the guitar riff from the Strokes' track "The Adults Are Talking" from the band's sixth album The New Abnormal. Was this crossover on your 2024 bingo card?
"Boy Bye" will follow the previously released single "FYS" (which stands for "fuck your status"). Although no release date has been confirmed for "Boy Bye," fans can look forward to it by pre-saving the single.
