Children of Bodom Join Lamb of God's No Fear Energy Music Tour

BY Keith CarmanPublished Mar 23, 2009

As we announced back in January, Lamb of God are hitting the road for the No Fear Energy Music Tour in support of latest full-length Wrath. And when it comes to metal tours it's not what you know, it's who you know that'll get you ahead in the game. Keeping that in mind, it's a no-brainer that hate crew Children Of Bodom would be part of this jaunt. Even with a cursory glance at Lamb Of God front-man Randy Blythe it's almost impossible to ignore the COBHC (Children Of Bodom Hate Crew) tattoo that adorns his left forearm. So go figure, they're sleazing their way across the big pond to partake in the festivities.

This North American stint is a relatively quick follow-up to the Finnish group's September/October jaunt in support of recent effort Blooddrunk. As the band announced their inclusion on the tour, however, they have also noted that an album of cover songs might be on the horizon for late 2009. It just depends on if the self-proclaimed "lazy" quintet can bother with getting together to rehearse, as they've admittedly been lax at in the past.
