In between voicing Spider-Man in an animated series and dissing fellow MCs with his freestyles, Childish Gambino has announced that he has another new mixtape on the way. Details are still slim, but it appears to be called STN MTN/Kauai.
The actor-turned-rapper known as Donald Glover posted a simple tweet with the title, noting that it comes presented by DJ Drama's Gangsta Grillz mixtape series.
He also shared a photo of what appears to be the mixtape's artwork (above). Curiously, in the Kauai part of the artwork, a small caption reads "WITH JADEN SMITH AS 'THE BOY.'" This presumably means that Will Smith's 16-year-old son is involved somehow, but we're not sure in what capacity. The STN MTN half, meanwhile, most likely refers to Glover's hometown of Stone Mountain, GA (a suburb of Atlanta).
Beyond that, we don't know little about the mixtape. Glover shared the new track "Candler Road" just a few days ago, so it's possible that song will appear here.
