Chief Keef to Pay Homage to Shooting Victims with Hologram Concert

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 13, 2015

Over the weekend (July 11), 22-year-old rapper and Chief Keef's Glo Gang affiliate Capo was shot and killed in Chicago. As the suspects left the scene, they reportedly hit a strolled with their car, leaving a year-old infant named Dillan Harris dead.

Now, Chief Keef has arranged to pay tribute to Capo and Harris with a concert in the city of Chicago. Due to legal circumstances, Keef can't appear in Chicago and will be performing via satellite from Los Angeles, where he currently resides. The magic will happen from a soundstage in Beverly Hills this coming Friday (July 17).

Entry to the concert will be free, though attendees are encouraged to make donations to Harris' family.

"I was trying to save my baby," Harris' mother — who declined to be identified — told The Chicago Tribune. "I never imagined this would happen. … My son gone so soon."
