Check Out Reviews of Oneida, Rural Alberta Advantage, Clutch and More in New Release Tuesday

While Tuesday is not exactly the most exciting day of the week, Exclaim! is working hard to make it the new Friday. But, how is that possible, you ask? With New Release Tuesdays, obviously. This most special of round-ups provides fresh reviews of new albums out every Tuesday so you can stay in-the-know about recent record hits and misses, and impress your friends with your musical knowledge.

For your online reading pleasure this week we have reviews of the latest releases from hardcore journeymen Poison the Well, as well as a musically subdued effort from boogie metal act Clutch. It also seems we're having a love affair with Scotland this week, with reviews from two Scottish acts: dance pop outfit We Were Promised Jetpacks and Broken Records, a very orchestral-leaning rock unit. In addition, make sure to take a look at Exclaim!'s interview with prairie rockers Rural Alberta Advantage regarding their debut release, Hometowns.

Despite the inaccessible nature of releasing a three-disc record, this week we also highly recommend you take a listen to the latest blast of psychedelia from Brooklyn's Oneida, Rated O. Mixing electronic rock loops with heavy drums and diverse tempos, Oneida have created a truly creative work while staying congruent to their epic rock past.
