Published Mar 27, 2012This Tuesday, we're preparing to wrap up March with the last of the month's new releases, including Exclaim!-approved picks from Georgia Anne Muldrow, Cowboy Junkies and Meshuggah. To read full reviews of the following highlights, head over to the Recently Reviewed section.
Kicking things off, Swedish electro-pop trio Miike Snow follow up their acclaimed 2009 debut with Happy to You, while reformed industrial giants Ministry lose their light-hearted side on Relapse and the ever-prolific Georgia Anne Muldrow delivers arguably her most satisfying release to date, Seeds.
Also out today, following the surprise critical success of 2010's Say Us, "radio rock" revivers Zeus return with their sophomore effort Busting Visions, plus Malia's Amadou & Mariam get scrubbed up and stadium-ready on Folila and Toronto alt-country vets Cowboy Junkies complete their compelling four-album Nomad Series with The Wilderness.
Lastly, we have not one, but two, new albums from hardworking headbangers the Great Sabatini, Matterhorn and The Royal We, NWOBHM-inspired troupe 3 Inches of Blood unleash their fifth full-length Long Live Heavy Metal, and while often imitated, tech-death unit Meshuggah prove they're still the masters on Koloss, their highly anticipated follow-up to 2008's obZen.
