Check Out Reviews of Kylesa, Senses Fail, None More Black and More in New Release Tuesday

It's Tuesday, and once again, this means it's time to hit up your local record store and pick up this week's new album releases. But before you go out and make any hasty purchases, make sure you check out the Exclaim! Recently Reviewed section to find out which records you shouldn't miss out on.

First up, Southern heavy metal rockers Kylesa (pictured) are on a roll. Their latest release, Spiral Shadow, has earned them an Exclaim! Mark of Excellence and is a fantastic hardcore mélange of percussion and melody. Click through to read the review, complete with an interview with the band, wherein they discuss their inspiration for their latest and, we think, best piece of work to date.

Next, New Jersey punksters Senses Fail are back with The Fire, their fifth studio release. And while we're on the subject of punk, None More Black have released their first album since 2008. Find out why we think the opening track off of Icons is possibly one of the strongest punk songs the band have ever recorded.

Vancouver's the Salteens, who haven't released an album in a staggering seven years, have finally dropped a new album, Grey Eyes, which packs the orchestral pop charm. And Section 25 fans, take note: we're really digging their latest, Retrofit. It isn't an album of new material, but of re-imagined and re-tooled hits from their 30-year career, as well as a bit of a tribute to one of the band's founding members, Larry Cassidy, who passed away earlier this year.

Lastly, read our review of Lucky Shiner, from loop-loving UK electro artist Gold Panda, and find out why we praise the album as, "dreamy and dreary, intricate and ingenuous."

You can find all of these reviews and more at the Exclaim! Recently Reviewed section. And make sure to keep an eye on our New and Forthcoming Release Dates page to see what's coming up.
