L.A. indie pop rock outfit Best Coast have released their full-length debut, Crazy for You, and it's definitely been worth the wait. After all, it's earned the Exclaim! Mark of Excellence this week. Next up, the Golden Dogs serve pop rock straight up, no chaser on their new album, Coat of Arms. And yes, we're sure the pun is intended.
With a name like Decrepit Birth, you can bet that words like "shoegaze" and "lo-fi" aren't in these boys' vocabulary. Finally we have a pair of experimental electronic pop artists with new releases this week, starting with Christopher Willits. His latest release, Tiger Flower Sun Circle, marks his 20th or so album. And Toronto electronic producer James Teej has released Evening Harvest, which comes highly Exclaim! recommended.
