Exclaim!'s Pop Rocks album-of-the-year recipients Animal Collective have book-ended their superb year by releasing the highly recommended EP Fall Be Kind, while piano R&B songstress Alicia Keys also has a new album this week, in the form of her long-awaited The Element of Freedom, which features an extended version of her smash duet with Jay-Z, "Empire State of Mind."
In case you missed them, we also have reviews of Canadian indie pioneers By Divine Right, who have finally released their first studio in five years, Mutant Message. Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg has returned as well, this time with his party-minded Malice N Wonderland.
