In case you're unfamiliar with Exclaim!'s mythos, in February, we teamed up with
CBC Radio 3 and aux.tv to create X3, a monthly promotional collaboration where one lucky up-and-coming Canadian "artist of the month" is showcased not only in print and on the internet, but also on radio and television.
Although aux.tv has a Monday night spot on the new youth lifestyle channel BiteTV, it is now having itself an "X3 Weekend" and this evening is airing three hours of music-related content that includes interviews from AUX's Closer, the television premiere of CBC Radio 3's web series R3TV and Exclaim! TV's Garageland, hosted by Sam Sutherland. We're excited to say the least!
Check it out tonight on BiteTV from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. EDT. Think you'll miss it? The spot will repeat on both Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EDT and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EDT, respectively.
BiteTV is currently being previewed for free on Rogers channel 322, Cogeco channel 123, Telus channel 186 and Access channel 157. It is available for purchase on Bell channel 533.
