Whitby's Chastity — a.k.a. Brandon Williams — has shared a cover of Third Eye Blind's "Losing a Whole Year" in the spirit of cancelling the trash fire that was 2020 and starting anew.
"Although Third Eye Blind released this song in 1997, it was somehow 2020's theme song," Williams said in a release. "It was rough for every single person I know... maybe it's best that we all forget it, and just lose the whole year."
Last year, Williams collaborated with studio vet Makeda Francisco on "Drain the Bloodbath," threw his support behind the Ever New charity compilation with a cover of "Now the Struggle Has a Name" by the Tragically Hip, and released a live companion album to 2019's Home Made Satan.
