Charlotte Cardin has returned with her first new music in nearly two years. Today, the Montreal artist has shared single "Passive Aggressive," which you can hear alongside a video below.
In Cardin's words, "Passive Aggressive" is "basically a song about the relief, celebration, and liberation you feel once you get rid of a toxic relationship. It's about a very passive aggressive ex and just those toxic vibes. It's being happy to be on your own and embrace your inner strength."
"Passive Aggressive" arrives ahead of Cardin's forthcoming full-length debut, due out through Cult Nation. The artist co-directed the accompanying visuals alongside Jason Brando.
"Passive Aggressive" follows Cardin's 2019 single "Drive" and 2018 one-offs "Les Jupes," "Double Shifts" and "California." Her most recent project remains 2017 EP Main Girl.
