While the packed crowd's start-of-the-festival restlessness was tough to quell, Cardin's effortlessly magnetic stage presence managed to calm even the rowdiest of spectators with faithful renditions of tracks from her Big Boy EP alongside her two bandmates.
The most obvious reference point for Cardin's sultry vibes is Amy Winehouse — they share incredibly similar vocal inflections, as playful as they are heartbreaking — but Cardin filters herself through the sleek sheen of this era's electronic music, too.
