As you'll witness, the "Gone" video packs in some serious drama, with the pair getting more than a little intense around a roped up car.
Helping shed light on the track, Charli tweeted the following:
💓 GONE FT CHRIS DROPS TOMORROW 💓 THIS SONG IS ABOUT FEELING ISOLATED AND ALONE IN CROWDED ROOMS, THE FEELINGS OF ANXIETY AND LEARNING TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH WHO YOU TRULY ARE. 💓 ITS ABOUT BREAKING DOWN AND BREAKING FREE 💓 @QUEENSCHRISTINE 💓 pic.twitter.com/AwVsF1Pe5U— Charli (@charli_xcx) July 16, 2019

As previously reported, Charli XCX will release Charli — her third proper studio effort — on September 13 via Atlantic Records. She will also head out on a sprawling tour, the date of which you can see here.
Charli XCX's last proper album was 2014's Sucker. But since then, she's also released the Vroom Vroom EP, as well as the Number 1 Angel and Pop 2 mixtapes.
