Published Jun 24, 2010Earlier this year, influential British shoegazers Chapterhouse announced that they would be coming to North America for a reunion tour. The run of dates was scheduled to take place in the spring, but like many intercontinental tours, it was cancelled thanks to the Icelandic volcano. Fortunately, most of those dates have been rescheduled.
In October, Chapterhouse will try their hand at crossing the Atlantic once again for a North American jaunt. Besides their Seattle show, all planned dates have been rescheduled. Originally, the band were planning to play Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern on May 1, but the venue has been switched to Lee's Palace for their October 6 gig.
Once again, this one-off tour will feature support from German electro-gazer Ulrich Schnauss. Chapterhouse will be touring with their original line-up save for bassist Russell Barrett, who will be replaced by Greg Moore.
