Chance the Rapper has delivered plenty of guest verses, a handful of singles and even a Super Bowl ad with the Backstreet Boys since the release of his excellent debut album Coloring Book, but he's finally revealed when to expect his next album.
The rapper took to Instagram last night (February 11) while his fiancée was shopping at Barney's, and told followers that he's been working on new music and teased that we'll "get that shit when I'm ready."
He then popped back into the frame to add, "July, though."
So while we may not have an exact date for Chance's next album, at least we know it will be arriving this summer. Watch his vague album announcement below, and stay tuned for more details as they become available.
Late last year, the Chicago rapper unveiled new singles "The Man Who Has Everything" and "My Own Thing." They followed his summer releases "Work Out," "Wala Cam," "I Might Need Security" and "65th and Ingleside."
