Chance the Rapper and James Blake to Become Roommates in Los Angeles, Work on Collaborative Music
Post-dubstep heartthrob James Blake and hip-hop upstart Chance the Rapper previously teamed up for a remix and promised more collaborative music, and now they're apparently upping the ante of their partnership by becoming roommates.

Speaking with NME, Chance revealed that he will share a home with Blake when he moves to Los Angeles later this year. "I've never lived anywhere other than this house, the one I grew up in in Chicago," he said. "It will probably be like being on vacation for the first couple of months. Then I'll start figuring out what kind of music I'll be making."

This living situation will make it a whole lot easier for Chance and Blake to continue with their plan of making collaborative music together. Chance said, "We're probably going to make a bunch of shit every day. I don't know what we're going to do with it. We might give some shit to other artists. We're getting a compound so we figure we might invite people round to the crib and make some music in the house, then kick them out and bring in some new people."

Blake is British, but it makes sense that he wants to have a home base in Los Angeles, since he's reportedly dating guitarist Theresa Wayman of the L.A. band Warpaint.
