Published Jul 30, 2014Chance the Rapper recently noted that he had collaborations on the way with Jessie Ware, Wyclef Jean and more. Starting things off, a few of those artists have jumped on the Chicago rapper's new interpretation of kids cartoon Arthur's theme song, "Wonderful Everyday."
Like opening up your eyes to a bright, summer's day, the track opens with a warming array of piano tones and a tapestry of interwoven vocals from Chance, Ware and Jean, as well as Francis & The Lights, Jesse Ware, Elle Varner, Eryn Allen Kane, The O'my's, and Chance's Social Experiment members Peter Cottontale and Donnie Trumpet.
Following a hummable, positive message from Chance ("It's a simple message and it comes from the heart/Believe in yourself, that's the place to start"), the song erupt into a massive percussive clap beat, while also bringing in ultra-wriggly synths and ecstatic Dixieland brass.
You'll find the re-imagined theme song down below. Other upcoming Chance collaborators include J. Cole, Boys Noize and more.
