Chains of Love Announce 'Strange Grey Days' and North American Tour, Premiere New Track

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 8, 2012

Since Chains of Love's live debut last spring, much ink has been spilled over Vancouver's sultry soul revivalists. Rather than rest on the hype behind their first two singles, though, the band will soon be cranking out more '60s R&B-imbued tracks on their upcoming record Strange Grey Days.

So far we haven't heard a lot about the upcoming record, which recently made it onto Exclaim!'s list of most anticipated Canadian releases of 2012, but if first single "He's Leaving (With Me)" is any indication, the retro vibe of the band -- driven by the vocal melodies of singer Nathalia Pizarro and guitarist Rebecca Marie Law Grey -- remains intact. To hear for yourself, Exclaim! is streaming the song down below.

You can hear the full platter March 13 when Dine Alone releases it digitally and on CD. Physical medium lovers will be glad to know that on top of the seven new tunes, the CD will also include the songs from last December's "Breaking Hearts"/"In Between" seven-inch. You can check out the tracklisting below and the record cover is above.

Chains of Love will also be hitting the Canadian road later this month for a string of shows down the West Coast, and they'll make their way back home from the Maritimes with fellow Vancouverites Said the Whale come March. You can check those dates below as well.
