CFCF Gets Remixed by Junior Boys, Young Galaxy, Memoryhouse on New EP
Montreal's CFCF (aka electro mastermind Michael Silver) has been popping up on numerous remix projects as of late. He recently appeared on Owen Pallet's remix EP for the single "Lewis Takes Off His Shirt," and was also featured on HEALTH's DISCO2 remix LP. And you may remember that CFCF first came into the public eye after winning a Crystal Castles remix contest with his version of "Air War." Now, Silver will be reversing the tables, allowing some of his electro-loving peers to remix his own tracks on a new six-song EP.

Entitled Drifts, the collection features contributions from artists such as Junior Boys, Young Galaxy and Memoryhouse. All of the songs on the EP are remakes of tracks that originally released on CFCF's 2009 full-length debut, Continent.

Drifts is digital-only, and is due out on June 29 via Paper Bag. For a preview, check out the embedded video below to hear chillwave duo Mathemagic's take on "Big Love" (originally a Fleetwood Mac song).

Drifts:

1. "Big Love (Junior Boys Remix)"
2. "Come Closer (Nacho Lovers Remix)"
3. "Come Closer (Azari & III Remix)"
4. "Letters Home (Memoryhouse Remix)"
5. "Big Love (Mathemagic Remix)"
6. "Snake Charmer (Young Galaxy Remix)"
