The 35-year-old started getting Em tats when she was 19, but only started collecting the portraits back in 2017. Of her roughly 50 tattoos, 16 of them are portraits of the real Slim Shady, while 28 of them have something to do with the rapper in one way or another.
"I heard 'Stan' when I was 14 and had never heard anything like that before," she told BBC of her fandom. "It blew me away."
She added: "He's been the one constant in my life, and I have seen him perform live."
Without much to do as a nail technician during lockdown, Patterson approached Guinness about her collection and was later confirmed to be the world-reigning champion for the title. In other words, Patterson is a certified Stan.
Going by @crazyeminemlady on Instagram, Patterson also named her dog after Marshall Mathers. She hopes her obsession will catch the eye of the rapper eventually so she can speak to him in person one day.
