Having been a festival staple in Kelowna, BC, for the past nine years, Monster Energy Center of Gravity is set to wash ashore in the town of Wasaga Beach, ON, for the first time this summer. Promising three days of non-stop music and exhilarating sport competitions, organizers have unveiled the lineup for performers for their inaugural Ontario edition.
Dutch DJ and producer Tiesto, hip-hop icon Ice Cube and Hardwell top the bill as this year's headliners. "Wasaga Beach is a perfect fit for MECOG," festival founder Scott Emslie said in a statement. "The festival is meant to be an escape from the city to a beach town for a weekend packed with high energy sports, day cabanas, lakeside house music, sunset headliner performances, and shared memories with likeminded people. It's hard to find a better location than Wasaga Beach to create the MECOG experience."
A ticket pre-sale is set for May 4 at 10 a.m. EDT, and for those looking to get early bird pricing on tickets, buyers can text MECOGW to 393939 for a pre-sale code. The code will get you regular tier tickets for $169.95 plus taxes and fees, with VIP Platinum and VIP Ultra tickets available for $299 and $399, respectively. Remaining passes will go on sale to the public on May 6 at 10 a.m. EDT and can be purchased here.
