Catlow

"Lose Control" / "Stormsad"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Feb 5, 2015

Vancouver electro-pop act Catlow will be debuting a couple new tracks live this weekend, but Exclaim.ca has got the exclusive premiere of "Lose Control" and "Stormsad" for you to hear before the show.

"Lose Control" hears frontwoman Natasha Thirsk's vocals matched with a bouncy, synth-pop backbeat. "It's hooky and sweet and a little dark like most of us!" says Thirsk of the new single. "It's cute, it's fun!"

The dancefloor-ready single is paired with a second new tune called "Stormsad," which is a slower, more melancholic number with glossy guitar lines and deep, dark-sounding synths.

Both tracks will be making their live debut on Saturday (February 7) with a single release show at the Cobalt in Vancouver. Catlow is joined on the bill by Candela Farm and Gang Bang, and full event details can be found here.
