Chan Marshall has given fans some exclusive news about her next Cat Power record via her MySpace blog.
The Shortlist Prize winner's plan is to follow up 2000's The Covers Record with a second volume of other people's songs. Though she hesitated to list any of the songs she's considering, on her most recent tour she's been covering up a storm with everything from the Animals' "House of the Rising Sun" to a "Crazy" mash-up featuring versions by both Gnarls Barkley and Patsy Cline.
