Cat Power, Norah Jones, La Roux and Beth Orton Added to Lilith Fair 2010

When Lilith Fair co-founder Terry McBride announced the 2010 edition of the festival back in October and mentioned that it was "very much upon us," we had no idea how "upon us" it would get. There was an initial line-up released in early December, but that list has been steadily growing, and suddenly this festival looks as if it's set to eclipse its past manifestations in nearly every way, shape and form.

Added to the festival line-up this time are indie-friendly acts such as the Gossip, Kate Nash, Sia, Beth Orton, Lights, La Roux, Marina & the Diamonds, Erin McCarley and - wait for it - both jazz chanteuse Norah Jones and indie folk icon Cat Power (pictured). Older favourites Loretta Lynn, Heart, Priscilla Renea and Rosie Thomas have also been added.

These names are in addition to the heavy-hitting line-up that already includes co-founder Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige, Chantal Kreviazuk, Jill Scott, Metric, Tegan and Sara and Emmylou Harris.

Seriously, stack this list any higher and it's going to fall over.

As previously mentioned, the tour dates remain unannounced, but it's been confirmed the tour will hit Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Toronto and now Edmonton. There are also a long list of U.S. dates set for the roaming festival.
