Castle Announce 'Welcome to the Graveyard' Album

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 24, 2016

Canadian-made, Cali-based metal combo Castle have announced they're getting doomy again, with a new album now due for a summer release. You're cordially invited to give the band's Welcome to the Graveyard a spin when it drops July 12 through Ván Records.

The full details behind the LP have yet to arrive, but a press release notes that the album was recorded at Portland's Type Foundry Studios with producer Billy Anderson (Sleep, Neurosis, Eyehategod). The record marks the first full-length release from Castle since their occult metal-inspired 2014 collection, Under Siege.

While samples from the new record have yet to go live, the group are expected to bust out some new tunes on their forthcoming North American tour. The trek takes place throughout June and July, but sadly does not cross up into Canada. The band did, however, play in Toronto last month.
