Castanets and Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson Announce Joint Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Oct 22, 2008

If you’re feeling bummed this fall, the perfect gig is possibly on its way to a city near you, as Raymond Raposa will be bringing the creaky downers of his Castanets on tour. Joining him will be the equally down but slightly more upbeat folk rock of Brooklyn troubadour Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson. Raposa is touring in support of Castanets’ new album, City of Refuge, while Robinson is still working his celebrated self-titled debut.

The tour kicks off in mid-November, and covers a decent chunk of the U.S. Along the way, the pair will make one Canadian stop, and for once it’s not in Toronto! They will play at Vancouver’s Media Club on Remembrance Day, possibly interrupted by a moment of silence at 11:00 p.m.
