We've got a whole summer ahead of us before U.S. songsmith Cass McCombs releases his Mangy Love, but you can sample some of the album's infectious melodies before its official due date. The shuffled and strummed "Run Sister Run" is streaming now.
While McCombs had been Skifflin' earlier in the year, this latest track presents sun-toasted, wave ridin' rhythms and slack, though vitamin D-enriched guitar. That said, McCombs kind of creeps it all up with an eerily subdued vocal performance.
