Spundae and Mute Records put DJ Cass behind the decks for a double CD compilation of what Cass declares are some of his mainstay tracks. The first disc is a light dose of progressive tech-edged house, funky breaks and skittish techno. The second disc mobilises much of the same, but this time it does so into slightly harder and darker territory. Both discs benefit from a constant injection of deep electro-funk into the helter skelter but with smoothly spun techno/breaks fusion, and generally the bustling percussion submits to Cass's acute rhythm sensibilities, allowing him to maintain a locked-in and solid groove throughout.
