Norwegian producer Cashmere Cat has finally announced plans to release his long-rumoured new album Princess Catgirl. The album announcement arrived with a video for a new single called "Emotions."
The song has arrived with a new video that stars Margaret Qualley. You may recognize her from recent appearances in Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood, Fosse/Verdon and The Leftovers.
Princess Catgirl is named after a fictional character in the producer's world. In a press release, he said, "She's very cute and powerful. I've always been shy—since the beginning of being an artist I would hide my face, not want to do interviews, hide behind other artists. I guess you could say I was scared. So I created Princess Catgirl to be the face of my music. She makes me feel safe."
Princess Catgirl will arrive on September 20 via Mad Love / Interscope. Watch the video for "Emotions" below.
