Vancouver indie-fuzz trio Cascadia delivered last year's Conditionally cassette through Green Burrito/Student Loan, but the band are bouncing to another local label to issue their upcoming 7-inch EP, Level Trust. Cruising USA offers up the wax platter March 19.
A press release notes that the four-song mini-effort was tracked in a quick, one-day session last December with producer Jordan Koop (Needles//Pins, Peace) at his Noise Floor studio in Ladysmith, BC. The song cycle is described as featuring a Polvo-meets-Melvins approach to "Big Muff-fuelled pop music." While the band will perform a record release show March 16 at Vancouver's Lions Den, they'll first have to get through a February run of dates around the Pacific Northwest with fellow Vancouverites Weed. You can see the show schedule down below.
