Vancouver trio Cascadia's Level Trust 7-inch saw its release through Cruising USA this week, and the band are celebrating with a hazy, lo-fi video for their fuzzy indie-pop cut "Josie."
The clip features a number of obfuscated images, layering swashes of colour and scenery atop vocalist/drummer Sasha Langford as she either coos or whomps on her kit. The oversaturated feel of the vid brings to mind the kinds of things either Kim Clarke Champniss or Simon Evans would screen on City Limits, which fits perfectly with the band's '90s-referencing blend of Sonic Youth-inspired noise pop and shoegazing textures.
