Caribou

Anyone who's seen a Caribou show knows it's in a live setting where Dan Snaith and company create the ultimate psychedelic experience. Now, with his first proper DVD release, Snaith has given fans the chance to bring this kaleidoscopic journey home with a collection of his wildly imaginative and yes, drugged-out visuals. Filling in for the real live band are 16 of his tracks (from both The Milk of Human Kindness and Up in Flames) that have been transformed into colourfully constructed videos (courtesy of Delicious 9), most of which have made their way onto background screens during concerts. In a beautifully designed hardbound book-style case, Marino also comes with a four-track audio CD of completely new, mesmerizing material from Dundas, ON's own psychedelic manufacturer.
